Osteopathy
Osteopathic manipulative medicine or treatment (OMM or OMT) is at the heart of Dr. Gould’s approach. OMT uses gentle, hands-on treatment to remove barriers and help the body access its innate blueprint of health—its ability to regulate, adapt, and heal. Available for all ages.

Medicare / Medicaid / Sliding Scale
Medicare patients receive a 25% discount on pay-per-visit services, member-rate additional visits, and osteopathic visits. Does not apply to membership fees.
Durango Integrative Medicine is unable to accept Medicaid patients due to Colorado Medicaid laws.
Sliding Scale
- Durango Integrative Medicine offers a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on financial need — reach out and we'll walk through whether it's a fit for you
Communication & Messaging Policy
Membership includes direct messaging access with me (the physician) directly-- no phone trees, no call center, no waiting hoping your message was received.
Messaging works well for things like:
- Quick questions or clarifications around your treatment plan
- Medication refill requests
- New focused concerns you are unsure if need a visit or not (ie UTI symptoms) to help determine if a visit is warranted
- Updates on progress
- Simple administrative or scheduling questions
For anything that needs real medical decision making- I may ask you to come in for a visit. This ensures you continue to receive the highest quality care.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
Life happens and we understand that. If you need to cancel or reschedule we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice and there is no charge.
Membership Cancellation & Re-Enrollment
If you ever need to step away from membership-- just give us 30 days written notice. Membership fees hold your spot on the panel and are not refundable once paid, however you are never "locked in" beyond 30 days.
If you leave and want to re-start membership later
- You may be asked to re-enroll (new enrollment fee + intake) Also know that there may be a waitlist as we are only able to accept a small number of new patients monthly.
